Once you figured out this URL and went to the geocaching web site, you were supposed to do a zip code search; a search on any San Francisco zip code (941xx) would produce a list of geocaches stashed in or near San Francisco. One of the geocaches listed was named "YABA Treasure Hunt Hint #2" - this led to a cache we had placed somewhere in San Francisco (we'll let you go to the geocaching web site to see exactly where it is). In this cache we placed about 30 copies of a document containing the actual hint #2. This hint involved some leg work and travel, but we think it was worth the work because it was a really obvious hint showing characters from the movie "South Park."

The hint web page also contained some photos of the building at South Park where the actual license plate was located; this building was very distinctive, being covered in climbing vine flowers and painted purple and green. There was also a photograph of a metal plaque attached to the side of the building, which said in French "oubliez le chien, attention au maitre" ("forget the dog, beware of owner") - this was actually a red herring - we just like the plaque!

Note: you will have to go to a physical location to solve this hint.

But you have over three weeks to do that {as of July 3rd, 2001} ...

...or maybe you're a last minute type? That's okay, in this particular case, that might work out quite well.
