Teams received a postcard of San Francisco, looking down
Montgomery Street towards the TransAmerica Pyramid. It was
addressed to "Miranda Frost, 27 Hunters Meadow, Dulwich
Wood Avenue, London SE19HX England", but the postage was
only enough for domestic mail, and it was postmarked "Sonoma,
California".
The postcard read: Dearest Miranda, Please come, I need
you. I can't trust anyone else. Zeus has taken over S.P.E.C.T.R.E.;
his spies are everywhere. Study the other side. Do you remember
the safe house nearby? I'll be waiting for you there. If
anything goes wrong, I'll leave you a signal outside. You'll
know it when you see it. In that case, go to the location
I gave you in the message marked "4". Either M or I will
meet you there. I miss everything British: the union Jack,
London in the fog, the house in the glen, Ellen's homemade
crumpets, Windsor castle, our intimate dinners at that spanish
Bodega, bait fishing in trout streams, your skin soft as
a rose petal, Uma's witty repartee… but most of all … you.
