Although the deck was set up in a particular way, this
entire game was a red herring - the answer to this clue
was two cards glued together with a message between them.
The glued-together cards were the Jack of hearts and
the Jack of diamonds (for Beginners and Regular Divisions),
or the Jack of hearts and a joker (for Masters' Division).
The slip of paper between the two glued-together cards
said "SALOON" in red; the Jack was also red; taken together,
these pointed you to the Red Jack Saloon, which is at
131 Bay Street.

Surprisingly, many teams' "dealers" didn't notice the
extra thickness of that particular card, even those who
played the game and dealt it. The license plate on the
back deck of the Red Jack Saloon read "SPECTRE", the evil
organization against which MI6 was always pitted in the
earliest Bond films.
There were some hidden clues in the game. First, there
was a reference to the explosives that Dr. Zeus "stocked
under the Bay" - this was a hint that the location
was at Stockton and Bay. And the final score of the game,
131 points, was the street address of the Red Jack Saloon
on Bay Street.
