Thank you, everybody, for playing!

BEGINNER PUZZLE

REGULAR PUZZLE

MASTERS PUZZLE

Note: the golden ticket puzzles are much more time-consuming and difficult than the clues in the actual game. We made them that way because you have more time to solve them, and because the reward for solving them is knowledge of the actual golden ticket number in your division!

The answer to each puzzle will be to an integer between 1 and 350.  The names of solvers who email us the correct number and a one sentence explanation of how they solved the puzzle will be listed on this page, updated daily.  We will not reply to your emails, we will not accept guesses without an explanation of the solution, and we will not confirm your solutions (except to print your name on this page).  No off-line hints will be given.

Please put "golden ticket solution" and the division (beginner, regular or masters) in the subject header of your email.  If your name is not inferrable from your email address, please also indicate your name in the body of your message.

You do not have to be a registered treasure hunter to solve the puzzles, and you may submit the solutions for all three divisions.  On game day, however, you will only be able to request the golden ticket for the division in whcih you are actually playing.

A final word: the contest for the gold coin is an individual competition. While you are free to co-solve with friends or teammates, or give puzzle answers away, keep in mind that on game day only one of you can claim the golden ticket and earn the right to compete for the gold coin, so in a very real sense, your teammates and friends are also your competition.  That said, the Masters division was designed for team-solving, so you might want to enter into a bargain to split the value of the coin if you all work together to solve the Masters puzzle!
